All of our therapeutic sessions are conducted and offered within the government statutory requirements and The BACP Ethical Framework for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

A qualifed counsellor coordinator, who is part of our pathway team, will carry out preassessments before counselling sessions can be offered. The pre-assessment helps to inform what type of counselling you may need and, thus, helps match you with an appropriate counsellor.

Through therapy sessions we will support you to develop the tools, that will enable you make sense of your circumstances and understand yourself from the place of your own truth as the point of reference. Therefore we encourage constructive application of yourself awareness, in order to recognise the patterns you maintain. Using strategies we seek to empower you to resolve complicated feelings, thoughts, or explore techniques to live with them.

Person Centre Therapy

A humanistic approach that deals with the ways in which we perceive ourselves consciously. It is underpinned by the key principle that the client is the expert and the answers they seek lie within. Therefore the counsellor role is to support the client to reconnect with their inner values and sense of self-worth thus enabling them to nd their own way to move forward and progress.


Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

The core foundation of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is built upon; is that our thoughts and behaviours in uence each other. CBT combines two approaches for a practical and solution-focused therapy.  The premise is that, by changing the way we think or behave in a situation, we can change the way we feel about life. The therapy examines learnt behaviours, habits and negative thought patterns with the view of adapting and turning them into a positive.


Integrated Therapy

An integrative approach to counselling and psychotherapy involves drawing upon more than one modality. The blending of relevant theory and interventions an approach is formed to suit the needs of the client. Integrative therapy takes the view that there is no single approach that can treat each client in all situations.


Life Coaching

Coaching is a form of development in which a coach, supports a client in achieving a special personal or professional goal by providing training and guidance. In harnessing techniques based on core psychological principles and intuition, life coaches empower clients and provide a toolkit of teachings to confidently face difficult challenges and overcome emotional barriers.
